Announcing this year’s theme: “Wearing Many Hats”

You are invited to attend the N.C. Association of Government Information Officers annual seminar, Thurs., Nov. 29, at the UNC Friday Center, Chapel Hill.

This year we hope to offer some practical tips and insights about how to “do it all” as a PIO. From branding to marketing to social media, PIOs today are expected to master more skills than ever before. Come learn about branding your agency, shooting video in the field using only your smartphone, communicating to multi-cultural audiences and more. Our keynote speaker this year is award-winning journalist and musician Bill Leslie.

Want to participate in the seminar? Sign up for a 5-minute Ignite Session and tell us about an interesting or exciting project, event or program you spearheaded this year. Email vice-president Michele Burton to sign up.

Seminar is now sold out and registration is closed.
